{Altered Angel Shrine}

Just a little simple altered box filled with vintage images of angels. I painted the cigar box a shabby cream and added text paper. A few angel images, ephemera, bottle brush trees, stickles, and silver snowflakes. Then a dusting of mica chips. Something fun to display for the Christmas season.

I also received some beautiful Christmas cheer in the mail from Marie of Lost Bird Studio. A gorgeous charm and angel tag that I displayed on our tree. Thank you Marie!

I also received this beautiful card from Marilyn Rock of Art Rocks. I love her lovely stamps and attention to detail.

{Kaleidoscopic Tag Book}

On this cold, windy, and gloomy autumn day I needed a pick me up. For the past several weeks, I have been painting and reorganizing my bedroom and studio space. A large task that is done a little at a time. I figure by next October it will be complete!

This tag book has a kaleidoscope of colors which made my soul happy today. We are awaiting “Frankenstorm” from the effects of Hurricane Sandy. I hope our east coasters stay safe and warm.

{Vintage Sister Tags}

I just realized it has been a week since my last post. Eeekkk! I made these this morning and thought I would share. The background are tags from Paper Whimsy and the faces/old photos are from Digital Collage Sheets. A little lace, sewing and seam binding.

Happy Tuesday!
