{A Tribute to Rabbie}

As seen on the Paper Whimsy Inspire Blog…

For this project I used the Genteel Ladies from Paper Whimsy and several of the new hybrid image sheets. Robert Burns poem “Red,Red Rose” was my inspiration for the project.

Today is the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns birthday – or “Rabbie Burns” day in Scotland. Robert is famous for his poetry and lyrics, and known as the national poet of Scotland. My paternal Grandparents were from the same area in Scotland (Ayrshire) that Robert hailed from. Grandpa was a elocutionist and would perform “Address To a Haggis” each year at the Burn’s supper.
