A few more pages from the altered Fairy book. I really have enjoyed creating this, although did learn a lesson. Do not use an old book. The fairy book went to work with me last week as some of the students I work with enjoy seeing my creations. Some students do not “get it” and were offended by babies with fairy wings. To each his own I suppose! :) My student suggested my next book be for my brother “Rick” who lives with us. Rick loves cars – especially classic Ford automobiles.

Nancy, I love babies with wings. If one see it as a joyuous or mysterious or magical image, (which I do), than it always becomes just that. I also love cherubs and of course cupid. I would love to see you do a cupid. I bet it would be awsome.
Hi, Nancy! This altered book is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing so many of the pages with us. My favorite spread is the one in blue and purple with the bright green wings. :-)
These are just so gorgeous!! I love them all!!
I am really enjoying your fairies! I especially like the orange page with the bright blue butterfly. It is fun to see someone else doing altered books.

Fantastic book pages Nancy
This is such a fabulous altered book! I love the page spreads you have created! You have created an instant treasure and heirloom with this one!
Oh Nancy, your altered book is just WONDERFUL!!! You make me want to start one right now! Hope you're having a great week, xxoo, Dawn
These book is so lovely!!
I love this! Some students didn't "get it"? Were they crazy? Everybody knows fairies are babies who haven't been born yet, and of course they have wings! How else would they fly around to choose their parents? Q.E.D.
On a more serious note, how nice to see the book finished. I've been battling with my fairy book for around 3 years now, and am completely stuck! You've inspired me to get up off my seat and go and finish it. Thanks for sharing.
Nancy, your book is just exquisite–I love every page! And, why should babies not have wings? They are little angels, little faeries–look at my little Lily on my blog, a few posts down–how can she not be an angel sent from above?! Perhaps those students who questioned this just didn't understand! Cheers, Jann
What a delight! I love the color you've used in this — it's like a rainbow.
What a gorgeous book you made!
Nancy I love babies with wings in fact anything with wings!! WOW your book is stunning. I love the blue.
Nancy…….this book is so pretty. Every single page is great and I love how each spread matches in colors. The colors are all gorgeous.
Nancy – this is awesome! Isn't it fun to alter books?!! I haven't worked on mine in ages, I need to get back to it ~ I also need about 5 or 10 clones. :D Marva
