Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Altered Envelope}

April 7, 2007

This week’s challenge at Wednesday Stamper was to create an envelope using stamping techniques. I selected a white clasp envelope – applied distress inks, pigment inks and pink chalk.

Various rubber stamps were applied (Just Johanna, Anna Griffin, PSX Designs, Hero Arts), word ephemera and a vintage wedding photo of children. Prima flowers were used as accents.
This challenge was very fun – I wonder if the postman would allow these to come through the mail?! :)

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.
