Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Altered Heart Book Swap}

January 22, 2010

Here are some hearts that I made for an altered heart book swap. The hearts are made from chipboard (Maya Road) and each participant was to create a double-sided heart to mail to their monthly partner. I have already received a gorgeous heart from Christy as part of the swap and look forward to all the precious pieces of art that will evolve from this project! :)

We are closing on our new home January 29…and most likely starting renovations immediately…my art time will soon be limited if I get to create at all! :( But our new place will be worth the efforts in the long run and I am looking forward to creating gardens on the property and decorating inside. Happy Friday everyone!

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    Lucky are the swappers that get your hearts. They are so sweet and so nicely put together. What an enjoyable book you will have after collecting all of the pages.
