Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Altered Lunch Tin}

December 10, 2006

This is my first time making an altered lunch tin. I received some wonderful items from our Secret Santa swap at Two peas (thank you Sherri) and I wanted to try my hand at creating something with these items.

Over the weekend I was frantically searching for a Christmas photo from my childhood for our Holiday slide show at school. It isn’t that I have ALOT of childhood photos,
however the way I have them organized (and no they are not scrapped yet) is in a huge bin with my children’s school photos, awards, etc.

This little altered photo tin will be mine all mine! Now I can easily find original photos from my childhood to scan, scrap, alter or look at. The yummy papers are Daisy D’s and Kalidoscope. Heart ribbon, and various ephemera.

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.
