Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Altered Sugar Spoon Ornaments}

December 14, 2009

My sweet girlfriend Julie gave me these chubby little sugar spoons so that I could altered them. The shape was a little difficult to work with compared with a teaspoon size because each spoon is a bit deeper to place each image into. Beads, crystals, vintage buttons, ribbon and sparkle were also added. Looking forward to giving these as little gifties! :) Happy Monday!

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    Now these I DO LOVE!!! My mother in law brought me several silver tea spoons when she visited from the UK and I am thinking what a lovely idea it would be to use this idea for those very spoons.
