Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Andrew is BACK in the U.S.A.}

December 11, 2008

Andrew is HOME at his base in Georgia. WOO HOO!I am so grateful and feel very blessed. He has now completed his 13 month tour in Iraq, and God willing now remains here in the U.S.A.

I will not see him until Christmas when he has leave, but what a joyful holiday it will be having him here and knowing he is safe.

I would like to thank each and every one of you who helped me “keep a knot in my faith” this past year. I feel like 1,000 pounds have been lifted off my shoulders. The continued love, support, and prayers you have given to me and my son was the biggest blessing. Thank you for getting us through it.

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    I am so happy for you and your family! On 9/11 my husband returned from his second tour in the sand pit and I remember that same feeling of thankfulness you're going through :) Welcome home Andrew, and what a great Christmas gift to all of you!
