Happy April! I’m looking forward to more sunshine and waiting for my spring bulbs to pop up. I can’t wait to see them since they were planted last fall. Always fun awaiting surprise flowers.
Here are just a few altered canvases to share with you. Each one has been assembled different. Mixtures of fabrics, papers, paints, and vintage findings.
I hope you enjoyed the sunshine on this lovely Monday!
I love these, what a great project for some of my old pictures!
Hi Nancy,

These are so soft and lovely – love the muted colors.
PS – I’m having a spring giveaway on my blog in case you want to check it out.
Pure gorgeousness Nancy!!! I especially love the first one-I rarely see such a beautiful image of a child(and she looks like she’s smiling a bit)with blonde hair. Really adorable!
They are adorable all, dearest Nancy and so beautiful, both in nature tones and in that lovely sea green… so wonderful embellished all 3 of them- you have the most sweet pieces to add, alwayes.
I hope you are well again, after the threads are out, and hope we will soon have spring-both you and I….. they told us that more snow will arrive thursday tomorrow…
Hugs and love,Dorthe

Hi Nancy,
Love those collages. What a simple but beautiful way to showcase wonderful pictures. I love that lace on the top of the first one. Right now I am loving blues, especially teal and aqua so that one is perfect to me. Thanks for some Thursday morning inspiration.
Lisa
You accented these images perfectly – I love the buttons and lace.
Finding a charming way to use old photos always delights me! And yours are just that … delightful! Adding enough details that enhances, and not detracts from, the image is always the key to a wonderful assemblage. Vintage laces, buttons and trims with just the right touch… as I said, delightful!
GORGEOUS, I adore the first one the most.
Don’t know if its the sepia tone but really Love it!!
Hugs Lynn
