This little mini journal is just a little snippet that is filled with images, tags, journal areas and pattern papers. The spine was reinforced with washi tape. Lots of bits and bobs and ephemera as well.
Since creative time is so precious for me, I try and find quick little things to focus on. These little coin/seed envelopes were one of a few things made today. Super simple, but they would be great for junk journals or the outside of a card. Little paper dolls from Tim Holtz were also added. I stitched along the edge with some navy thread to add more texture.

The birds are chirping, the temperatures are lovely, and the sun is shining. Spring is near and I will be grateful for longer days coming soon too! Today, I was able to get in the studio this morning and create two fairy jars. This is one of them. I still need to add some peasant feathers to my assemblage. Still debating on painting the lid as well.
The moss was actually found at Dollar Tree and it has little bits of bark and a pinecone as well. It was also my first time working with real quail eggs. So fun and fragile. I hope you are enjoying the coming of spring in your little corner of the world!
Today, I am sharing the last Gothic arch I made during my Sunday art session. All three have had the same color scheme. I was so grateful to have some art time and try to get unrusty at creating. My theory is you need to make art everyday and then it just flows, if it has been weeks it is always a struggle to get that mojo flowing again.
This arch was made using an image from Ireland Rose (Etsy) and Tim Holtz and Joann Fabric papers. Ephemera, paint, buttons, and computer text were also added.
