{Autumn Celebration Cards & Tags}

October 7, 2011

As seen on the Paper Whimsy Inspire Blog…

Leaves were falling…just like embers…in colors red and gold…
I love when new faces arrive in the Paper Whimsy shoppe as they always inspire me.
I wanted to share how one beautiful face sheet can make a wonderful array of cards and tags. You can make them for your own personal gift giving or make a lovely set to give to someone as a gift. The possibilities are endless when you incorporate tags and other elements.

Supplies:
Digi Sheet 282
Digi Sheet 284
Digi Words Sheet 180
Digi Words Sheet 237
Old Book 01 PNG
Old Book 03 PNG
Old Book 07 PNG
Butterfly 01 PNG
Digi Flowers Sheet 134
Art Bits 01 PNG
Digi Tags Sheet 091
White Iris Glitter
Distress Ink

Technique:
Cut all faces, tags, and elements out and distress edges with ink. Select which images (smaller faces) you will use for tags and place on to tag backgrounds using accent pieces (flowers & butterflies). Add glitter to accent pieces. Add word art.

Layer cards using pattern papers, tags, images and accents pieces. Add buttons (or other embellishments) and word art.

Standing Tag Cards: Create tag using cardstock background and cut one extra piece. Punch hole and join with twine or ribbon at the top. Cute way to make a tag into a small card.

This is the perfect time of year to create sets like this with the holidays approaching. They make wonderful gift sets and will be cherished by the recipient.
