Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Autumn Projects}

October 5, 2011

Bringing in autumn…a small mess in my studio area this past weekend as I was creating cards…of course this doesn’t include the dining room table where the sewing machine is set up and oodles of fabric, stockings, and lace have become a permanent fixture!

Wanted to share a small fabric book I finally finished up last week…all the images are from Paper Whimsy…I always have fun putting these together…

Only 1.5 more days until registration starts for Fine & Fanciful Victorian Holiday Stockings! :)

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    Dear Nancy
    Your mess is far more contained than my own. My own has taken on a life of its own!!!!
    Ohhhh Aaaahhhhh this is utterly adorable. Makes your heart melt looking at this.
    This has completely inspired me as I’ve never tackled a fabric book, always wanted to create one but never quite got there.
    Beautiful art, thank you for sharing.
