Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Birthstones – Sunday Post Card Art}

February 26, 2012

This weeks theme at Sunday Post Card art is “Birthstones” and I am honored to have been asked to host this week.

I made my post card using old ledger paper, mylar stencils and paint stamped on the background, Paper Whimsy image and ephemera. The “birthstones” are little faux Amethyst, my own birthstone.

I can’t wait to see what each of you create with the theme this week! sundaypostcardart.wordpress.com

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    I am so confused by what blogger is going to do. Will we lose all our followers? and will I lose all the blogs that I follow?
