Christmas Wishes

Wishing each of you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday’s! I appreciate your support of my creative endeavors, and I hope 2021 will bless us all. Stay safe and be well!

If there is righteousness in the heart,
If there is righteousness in the heart,
there will be beauty in the character.
If there is beauty in the character,
there will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home,
there will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation,
there will be peace in the world.
So let it be.

(Scottish Blessing)

Christmas Pocket Canvas

December 10, 2020

Sharing this Christmas themed pocket canvas from the archives today. This has a combination of fabrics, laces, sewn images, old sheet music, paint, seam binding ribbon, and a pocket filled with snowflakes, trees, and shred paper. The entire assemblage was created on a “flat” canvas.

I have been trying to keep the Christmas spirit going here on my blog, even though I have not been able to create much. This is why so many pieces are from my “archives” but it is fun to re-visit the art again. I hope you enjoy it too!

Christmas Is Coming Collage

December 7, 2020

Hello!

Tonight, I am sharing another “skinny” 3 x 5 collage with you. This seems to be what I can create in the time frame of “Grandson’s nap time”! :)

I used Tim Holtz papers, ephemera, postage stamps, collage images, sheet music, and stickles.
