Happy 2021

January 1, 2021

Wishing you a Happy 2021! I am looking forward to a fresh New Year! There is always something nice about a fresh start. This postcard is one from a collection that my Great Grandparent’s had and I thought is was unique. I am currently in the process of updating my web site, a task that seems to take me much longer then it used to do! Looking forward to creativity in the new year!

Happy 2020!

January 1, 2020

Happy New Year! A new decade has begun and I am excited for 2020 to be here!

This year, I have a goal to keep up in my notebooks more often. My datebook color coordinates with it as well. The sweet little girl was one of my Christmas gifts from my daughter.

In 2020, I hope to accomplish many new things. There will be changes to my website as well. I am very excited about this new journey, and hope you will take the ride with me!

Wishing each of you a very Happy New Year! Thank you for your continued support!

{Meet My New Grandson}

August 11, 2019

Grandma Nancy and Malcolm

I would like to introduce you to my first Grandchild who was born Thursday, August 8, 2019. He weighed 8 pounds – 10 ounces and was 21 3/4 inches long.

My son Ian and his wife Heather, have decided to give him a Scottish name as well. I am pleased to introduce…Malcolm Stewart.

Stewart was my Dad’s first name, and my Great-Great Grandmother’s maiden name.

I have no words on how I feel about being a Grandma. Four days later, I still stare at his picture and tears flow. It doesn’t seem real because I waited for what I felt was a long time to become a Grandma.

Still pinching myself that he is here! :-)

{Little Thrifting Finds}

July 10, 2019

Hello My Friends!

I wanted to share one of the beautiful rosaries that was purchased while out thrifting. I found this the day before the fall, and today I tried holding a camera up to take pictures of it. Very painful, but I DID it!

I have searched high and low on the internet about anything that looks like this. I have not found a rosary even close because of the capped filigree beads. It says “ITALY” on the back of the cross. It really is beautiful, so since I have not been creating because of my arm and hand, maybe one of you might know something about things like this.

Thank you for the well wishes. The healing process has truly been something I never knew with broken bones. I also have a tear in my ATFL in my ankle. But, things are improving so much. I have slept in my own bed now for two nights rather then a lazy boy chair (nearly a month of that). Physical therapy on arm starts next week, and the ankle already is being worked on. I am slowly being able to type with my right hand as well and reaching however painful the movement is coming.

I hope you are enjoying your summer.
