It has been quite some time since I created anything using the Gothic Arch shape and I found some time this week to make a book using spring colored pattern papers. How I adore the mixture of aqua, green and lavender…they always remind me of spring and Easter time.

This book contains 8 pages (16 pages in all front and back) and collage images, butterflies, ephemera, buttons and sparkle (Stickles) throughout. I’m ready for spring…are you?
Happy Friday!

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

It is a wonderful and adorable book dear Nancy,
I totally love the colours you have used and mixed here, they are amazing ,both allone and together,- where did you find those gorgeous flowered papers? They are amazing with those sweet kids, and the butterflyes-dancing around in the gardens with the dotted glitter .

    Dear Nancy
Only in your hands can a gothic shape still enthuse prettiness and adorability (I know, there isn’t such a word!!!) The cutest of images and Spring time colours, a breath of fresh air that is what this post is.
BTW the wind is howling and rain battering against the windows BUT it could be worse as much of the U.K. has been battered by snowstorms :(

This is so pretty..love these colors too. All the sweet images and embellishments make this totally springy. I spoke to soon..we had a couple of inches of snow today and going down into the teens overnight!!!! Kids coming from Denver, hopefully they got away soon enough as our snow storm is building up and heading their way. Denver expected to get serious snowfall. Oh well, we can look at springy things and think springy thoughts!
