{Everlasting Love}

This project is featured on page of Somerset Studios Wedding Volume 3.
They did not print both versions of my altered tins – so I am sharing both with you.

I made this project a few weeks before my Dad passed. It was to “honor” their 50th wedding anniversary (which would have been May 2007)- but we knew Dad would not see this day come.

This is a little project I created using my parents wedding photos. They were married May 4, 1957 – in the Martha Mary Chapel in Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village.

The color tones I selected are going with the theme my mother had at the wedding.
I used two cd tins – painted them a baby blue, and then did light coats of white paint to give a shabby feel. Then layers of pattern paper, stickers, and other embellishments. My parents photos were altered in PSP to a sepia tone, then a dry brushed white paint around the edges. Each tin has a lid (back).
