Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Fabric Festoons}

October 24, 2011

Oh whish….this past week has been a whirlwind and blur…I don’t recall an October being so busy in years…celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary this past weekend, and today is my daughter’s 22nd birthday along with my Mom who is turning 84! My online class is in full swing and an antique and craft show next weekend!

Here are a few fabric festoons that I have created this past week. I love to sew with old vintage laces, seam binding ribbon, buttons and baubles. I am getting ready for “Pink Promenade” this coming weekend – haven’t done a show yet so it should be fun! :)

If you live in the Michigan area and wish to attend check it out:pinkpromenade.blogspot.com

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.
