Vintage Heart Fabric Hanger

Miss Lacey Snickerdoodle

I’m trying to play catch up. I have been super sick the past two weeks (finally diagnosed as shingles) and my energy ran away to Kathmandu (or Bob Seger took it)… These are a few projects using fabric, Paper Whimsy images, and bits and baubles that I wanted to share with you. I love sewing when the temps are in the single digits and snow keeps on falling down.

I am also enjoying the last few days of my “Smitten” course…what a bunch of lovely ladies I have had the pleasure of enjoying the past several weeks! :) Enjoy your weekend and hope to catch up with all of you very soon! :)

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

So VERY sorry you ended up with shingles..I understand they are really nasty. My husband and I got a shingles vaccine last Fall.we are hoping that we will avoid them altogether. Were they able to give you something so that they did not last so long ?
I FEAR them more than death for some reason.
GLAD you are fianly feeling better however.
I am in love with your Heart Hanger…so darling.

Nancy! I did not know you were so sick! I was sorry to read that and shingles are not fun. My husband got that a couple of years ago – it was awful! Please take care and know I'm thinking of you.

These recent fabric pieces are luscious! You are so talented and creative (but I knew that) and you deserve all of your success and achievements!

Well; we're still cold, here; but not as bad as last week. Now; predictions are for by week's end to possibly reach high 40's, maybe 50! I'll have to get my t-shirts out :)

    Love ya – Marilyn xxoo

Nancy, I just heard about your class from Jill at Feathers and Flight. I'd love to be kept in the loop about when your next class will be. What do I need to do? Just keep checking in here?

I'm so sorry to hear you have shingles. We heard that they are going around and recommending the vaccine. I'm afraid to get it…just like flu shots.

    Be well.
