Sparkling Spools with Finials
I am smitten with these beautiful spools! There are so many ways to create with them. You can collage images, add bits and baubles, lace, tinsel…the possibilities are endless. They make gorgeous tie-on’s for packages, ornaments, or even a beautiful garland filled with them.

Supplies:
Pure Silver Glass Glitter
Spools with Finials
Digi Sheet 281
Genteel Lady 06
Craft paint
E6000 Glue

Technique:
(1) Paint spools and finials with craft paint. Drill hole in finial top for hanging.
Add collage sheet music around base using Perfect Paper Adhesive of Matte Gel Medium.
(2) Add lace to spool base. Or add a Beautiful face from Paper Whimsy. Add word.
(3) Paint thin coats of adhesive along edges of spool and dust with Silver Antique glitter.
