Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{For the Love of Purple}

April 12, 2017

I love purple and since Easter is just around the corner my springy mood reflects in each of them. I often wish this time of year could just stay because the bulb flowers are starting to bloom and the beautiful flowering trees. It is not “too hot” and not “too cold”. Spring always passes to quickly.

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    Love this color…I have a card to make for a grand-
    daughter’s birthday next week. I’ll probably use this
    color (again). Luckily she likes it too!

    They are so very beautiful cards, dear Nancy. Love your purple, lavender tones, and the beauty of details you have added. They are really gorgeous.
    Nancy I wish you a lovely Easter time, I hope you have more spring weather than I have- but hopefully it will soon be here.
    Do you see some kids for Easter ?. We are not having visitors , so it will be a silent Holiday . Hugs to you, from Dorthe
