Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Garden of the World – Altered Book Pages}

January 6, 2010

Removed for future publication in Somerset Memories.

A few more pages from the altered book that I made a few weeks back. This spread features more Paper Whimsy images, Anna Griffin papers, butterflies and Hilda Conkling poetry…I love the green background with this sweet girl…makes her dark hair pop. Happy Wednesday! :)

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    I just adore these most recent altered book pages. (The last three are awesome!) I would love to know where you get your flower ephemera? I have a hard time finding the right kind of flowers that I like to cut out and add to my art work. These ones you've used on your altered pages are wonderful. You have such a great artistic style. Happy New Year.
