{Kindred Spirits Altered Cards}

February 10, 2010

I found some time on Monday to create two cards and prep for an ATC class that I will teach tomorrow evening. The students will be creating Valentine theme ATC’s (my favorite holiday) and we will have an introduction to Gothic Arches (another class down the road.)If I can’t create for days (or in this case a few weeks) my mojo wanders far away. It almost feels like a foreign concept to sit down and make something right now and blog or visit fellow bloggers. This sweet image was a freebie from Gale at Paper Whimsy and since my creativity is at an all time low…I made two cards using different color schemes. I think the image is darling that she shared! :)

The house is in full construction mode with a contracter starting today to do work, we sold our current home which is applying the pressure to get moved quickly and while we are thankful for the sale the stress and decisions under crunch time are unreal. I know we will be delighted to move to this little quaint home…the boxes and mess will all be worth it in the long run!

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    I wish you a ton of luck in your new home Nancy. I remember how stressful it was for us last March/April when we moved and I had 2 sets of accounts to complete and submit before we did! I think it's brilliant that you are still making time for creating, so important to feed your soul from time to time… If you email me your new address, I'd love to send you a little something?
