Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Let It Snow}

November 25, 2012

I’m sharing just a few things with all of you made over the past few weeks. I feel like my art time has been few and far between lately.

I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday (for those that celebrate)…we had a nice peaceful weekend here getting our tummies filled with turkey and all the fixings. My son, Andrew celebrated his 25th birthday too. A nice little dusting of snow the past two mornings to put anyone in the Christmas mood!

We got our tree up, and still have many projects in the air. Tomorrow, we have a crew finally coming to re-side our home. I hope that we will be pleased with the color. It should take 4 + days to complete. Many other projects going on in the house and that always pulls me here and there.

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    I can NOT believe that Christmas is almost here! We’ve no snow yet… rain here but snow in the higher elevations (at 5,000′, we were to low for snow!) Thanks for the reminder about your shop. Love that first card. So sweet.
