Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Little Boys Gothic Arch}

August 16, 2009

This weeks theme at Gothic Arches is “Little Boys”…I couldn’t resist using this Paper Whimsy picture for my arch. Since my first two children were boys…it reminds me of them growing up. K & Company papers, Tim Holtz stamps, antique buttons, prima flowers, ribbon and stickers as embellishments.

Had to add my own two boys photo from when they were young…Andrew (aka Sgt. Sugar Lump) and Ian posed for this on Mackinac Island…sister didn’t want to be in the photo…I love the expressions on their faces and to this day it is one of my favorite photos from their childhood.
