Just having a bit of fun with old books, ephemera, vintage laces and seam binding. Topped with a silver photo charm and sweet images from Paper Whimsy.
It’s been a HOT week here in Michigan…right now we are at 104F…no relief anytime soon. I am one of those crazy people that would much rather deal with snow than the heat any day! I hope those of you also suffering from this heat wave receive cooler weather soon!
Such pretty packaged books! I especially love the way the one book looks like it has a burlap binding. Beautiful Nancy!! xxoo Heidi
LOVE this idea! Anything to do with old books…..I’m there! So decorative and pretty…I do hope you get some relief from the heat soon…I’m in Oregon, so lucky that we don’t have to deal with it. Quite the opposite right now, it’s unusually cool for us, mid 70’s.
You can make a paper sack look stunning..send over some of that mojo will ya!!heehee..Looks beautiful and that little frame finishes it off perfectly!!
So pretty!!!

Beautiful, Nancy. A small pile of my favorite things turns into something lovely!
This is so beautiful! I got a package today similar to this, just not nearly as pretty!
This is so lovely. I want to try and recreate things like this. These are beautiful. I see there is a class….mmmm perhaps I could do that. I will have to check the budget.
You are so talented. Kim xxx

Sweating with you girl…. I don’t like it either. I do however love these books. So sweet and just the right touch for anywhere in the house. Just perfect, xo
Okay, Nancy; I think I’m going to have to dedicate a board just to you on Pinterest – lol!
OMG me too! i love the cold much more than any heat! Yeah! Were totaly on this together! :D I love your booky idea, the lace ads a bit of royal flair ;)
Hugs,
Oh how beautiful they are dear Nancy- I love the old feeling captured when looking at them, and the quiet lovelyness ,that comes with them.
I`m sorry for you, about the heat- here we have cold rainy, stormy weather- and would have loved a bit sun ,the last day, the kids are here,-but it seems weather are doing very strange this year-all over.
Sending you hugs and love.
Dorthe
So very pretty!
Your book bundles are beautiful, Nancy!
Hopefully it will cool down for you soon. I wouldn’t mind if you’d send over 20 degrees. With 57 it doesn’t feel very summerly at the moment. I know though, that I can stand those cool temperatures better than hot and humid weather and so I don’t complain.
xoxo,
Julia
Nancy; these are so lovely! You’re a magician!
I’m with you – I’d rather have snow. We are just a tad lower in terms of humidity but it’s still extremely warm. I’m counting the days until Fall! xxoo
I don’t know how you do it, but you have such a natural way with vintage beauty! Love these! Stay cool!
Oh how I adore your work, so pretty. I picture all whole shelf of your beautiful artwork in a whimsical, vintage country home with the back french doors open to the outdoors. That’s what I envision when looking at your stunning work. Such inspiration. Thank you for sharing your work.
Stunning! Love your books!!
How beautiful these are Nancy, just lovely!
Ooooh breathtaking.
I am just imagining how special they would make any room look with one or more displayed on a table or dresser.
Wishes
Lynne
