{Love Me Altered Tag Book}

January 28, 2012

This book of love is sure to get the message across to your dearest one. I used the new Digi 290 Sheet for a Valentine theme and filled with the mixed Beautiful Faces Sheet 295. Create little books for swaps, birthday gifts, or one for a dear old friend. The combinations are endless with all the faces and images available in the shoppe and they make wonderful keepsakes!

A complete list of supplies is available on the Paper Whimsy Inspire Blog:
paperwhimsy.com/inspiration/?p=2270

Technique:

(1) Cover Avery shipping tags with various pattern papers on the front and back side. Punch holes in top of each tag. Distress edges with ink.

(2) Print out Beautiful Face Sheet 295 and Digi 290. Use the Balloon image for the front and back covers and punch out Beautiful face in circle shape. Insert into balloon and stickle the edges.

(3) Collage each tag using faces, Art Bits 02 PNG images, flowers, Digi 290 Words, and punch out background papers from Pastel Suites II JPG (using scallop punch). Insert heart brads into words. Add stickles around images.

(4) Tie ribbon through each tag top using various colors. Bind edges of tags together to form book.

I would love to see your project creations using altered tags! Please do share them with me if you make this project!

    You sound so much like me, several months ago I discovered mini albums and I’m going nuts making as many as I can using altered art, g45 papers etc. I still love traditional scrapbooking because I love the feel of paper and the texture. Visit my new store at Sello, scrappyaya’s place.
