I wanted to share a few altered canvases made over the last several weeks. Using cabinet cards, ephemera, mother of pearl buttons, antique lace, tissue papers, paper doilies, and embellishments. I guess you could say that my mind has and art is in altering mode.

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, Nancy! I LOVE your vintage art-you and I must be kindred souls because we love the same things-however, you are MUCH more industrious than I am! Everything in the world keeps getting in the way of my blogging and crafting, but I’m hoping to get more organized soon. You are such an inspiration to me!

Nancy these are beautiful. Have always loved your work because it has detail but also a beautiful simplicity, something that just works with these old photos as though the pieces were done a long time ago. Looking at these pieces today you really have your mojo back fully. Incredible progress. Thankyou for sharing both the art and your courageous journey.
