Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Miss United Kingdom}

September 30, 2007

gac_vacation

This weeks challenge at Gothic Arches is “Vacations/Places”. I decided to make an arch using a “United Kingdom” theme. The little vintage girl has always made me think she was originally from England…stamps that were used are from Paper Bag Studios and Hero Arts. Perfect Pearls were added along the edges and prima flowers as accents. A word label with “vacation” was also added.

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    Is pink one of your favorite colors? It is mine, right up there with red. I love that girl and that coat. She certainly looks like the next Princess Di.
