Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Nautical Cards}

May 5, 2008

Here are two cards I made using new stamps from Sugar Lump Studios. The first has a tag that was stamped in alchohol ink, a vintage image from Lisa’s Altered Art, brillance ink (starfish), gold embossing and Bazzill cardstock.

The second card has a vintage sailor boy, photo tinting pens (colors of starfish) and K and Co. papers.

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    Hi Nancy–how are YOU!!!??
    i am tempted to send you something again–your Sea theme jogged my memory about an altered shell book i started and can't quite finish–
    –i named it "Under the Sea"/and only just started pages and the shell… I started with a shell shaped childrens book..Then
    did 2 big clam shells for the front and back covers.
    …but now i see that you have all the cool stamps that would be perfect companions– :-)
    (You may want to have fun with it-and keep it ~ Let me know .)
