Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Near To My Heart}

November 1, 2007

I made this bracelet the other night to keep my soldier boy near to my heart.
Heart charms, red and blue beads, glass pearl beads and photo frame with Andrew’s military photo. The scan is not the greatest.
He called for a second time yesterday – but I was at work and it did not show up on my cell until later. His voice sounded down – but he said he would try to call again on Friday or Saturday. I am so thankful!

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.
