Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Old School Arch}

February 17, 2008

This weeks theme at Gothic Arch Challenge is to create an arch with an “old school” theme. My arch is very old school as I couldn’t quite get in the groove of memories from my childhood this morning while creating. I used Wild Sassafrass papers, K & Co. lace ribbon, Sugar Lump Studios, Hero Arts and PSX Design stamps, a sweet little girl image and a cool gothic arch shape that Donna shared with me. She drew the template for two new styles…and I plan to add her template to the Gothic Arch blog today. :)

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    Nancy, I just noticed the memorial to your dad, and that today would have been his birthday! Tomorrow would have been my father's. He was born in 1910. Many years to you, and many happy memories!
