Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{On the Mend}

November 30, 2007

It feels so good to be home! My surgery was a success and now I must make myself rest for the next 6-8 weeks. I slept in 2 hour intervals last night – hoping to make longer stretches each day…but so thankful to have the worst part overwith. The doctor was amazed how quickly I was able to get up and move around – but also thinks that I have not hit my most painful day. Thank you for the well wishes, thoughts and prayers…you are all the BEST!

Sharing some artwork from one of my favorite artists…www.lisi-martin.com she has some wonderful Christmas screensavers posted on her site. Have a great day! :)

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    Yeah!
    Glad you are on the mend…
    I think I had a similar surgery when my first child was born, so I think I know what day is the hardest!!!! Hang in there…
    At least my six weeks were with a beautiful baby that I got to just hang out with!!!

    I've been clicking on my favorites to find bloggers with a connection—yours was Wynonna.

    I don't mean to sound stalkerish, but I've
    been reading and skimming through Vintage Papers and I've decided you're my new best friend.

    God bless and watch over your son.

    Nice to meet ya!
