I have a weakness for many things…but pattern paper is at the top of my list. It may have stemmed from my fabric collecting back in the 1990’s, a former quilter I loved anything that was fabric related. Then I began to scrapbook. I loved collecting papers to use in my albums (the more vintage looking the better)…and now with mixed media art the fetish continues.

K & Company always seems to tug at my heartstrings…and when I found these paper patterns a few weeks ago I could not resist the gorgeous colors and design. The colors are more bright then what I normally work with…and the journals kept coming.

Of course they had to have some beautiful faces and you all know I love Paper Whimsy. That is where the hard part came in…which face to highlight the cover because there are so many to choose from! Here is my menagerie of journals each adorn with a charming sweet face. I made a link under each so you can find that beautiful face in the Paper Whimsy Shoppe.

    Dear Nancy
I have to say those papers are so gorgeous, full of the glory of Autumn, I must have a search for these.
Well I cannot take my eyes of those beauties. As someone who always has a Journal (or two, or three) on the go at any one time I am completely inspired.
Autumn has definitely hit my part of the world!!

Hi, yes, I am in Kuwait. Almost 17 years now. boo! I have an aunt and cousins in Michigan and have spent many a summer there. When I am out walking in 80 degree temps while there, they think I am crazy. It will be a while before we are down to 80 during the day around here. :/ Our summer temps can get about 120 some days. Wishing you a great week. Tammy

I have quite the fabric stash also! Sewed clothes and quilted and that started as a teenager!! Have not sewn a stitch in 15 years! I hear my Bernina cry under the cover I made for her! These are beautiful journals, Nancy! Your designs and use of papers is always such a treat! Almost forgot why I came here! Have a great week!
