Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Purple Grunge}

April 19, 2007

This week’s challenge at Wednesday Stamper was to create something using a grunge technique. While I am not sure if “purple” applies to this look – I went ahead and added some.

I created a gothic arch using plum, black and white inks – also white paint and a white Galazy marker. Stamps are by: PSX, Anna Griffin, and Hero Arts.
Vintage image and butterfly wings are from Nancy Dooren’s blog.

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    I'm struggling with the Grunge theme this week too! However, your piece is beautiful!

    Hmmm, now I've got to think of something to do myself…..
