{Renaissance Gothic Arch}

*Removed for publication – to be seen in Somerset Gallery Summer 2009

This weeks theme at Gothic Arches is “Renaissance”…and I struggled a bit with this because I rarely use images that are not “vintage”…but once I started playing I had fun! :) I altered a playing card with alcohol inks and added text to the center. My image was then placed in the center. Gold metallic ribbon, rhinestone brads and machine stitching were added.

The heart accent was made by Daniel who is our resident male at the stamping board on 2peas board. He made it from a recycled can, embossing, tin snips and paint. I just love it – thank you Daniel! :)
