I was excited to find Nellie van Leeuwen’s latest blog challenge venture yesterday – and wanted to share it with you all. It is called Make A Moo or Two…and this weeks challenge is “Romance”.
I have never made moo’s before but I do think they could be quite addicting.
I used the two key stamps from the “Heartfelt” collection of my new stamp plates at Sugar Lump Studios and a stamped image from the “Military Honor”. The stamp is a photo of my husband’s grandparent’s during World War II. His Grandmother was almost 16 when she married his Grandfather. They were married for over 63 years when Grandpa passed away in October 2006. I love this photo/stamp because they are true “sweethearts”.
I used the small key in gold ink and large key in Tim Holtz’s Fire Brick. Stamped the couple in black, added torn “I Love You” paper and tiny prima flowers with red heart mini brads.
I hope you will venture over to the “Make A Moo or Two” and try the challenge this week! :)
