Today, I am sharing this File Folder Journal created using various papers, images, ephemera, lace, buttons, washi tape, and tags. I first cut the folder for the cover deciding what size to use, and then fill the inside with the papers. I try to use “sturdy” pattern papers and some blank sheets. This way, the writer can fill in with writing, envelopes or other mementos they want to tuck in place.
On the cover, I created a little tuck spot for tags and there are several pockets through out the journal where this is done as well. I also have mini tags that were mounted on to embossed coin envelopes. You can tuck little journaling tid bits there as well.
