This was my first set of row houses that I made for a swap. Jeri of artfulgathering.typepad.com had asked me to join a group of artists in making these a few months back. I’ve never worked with matboard before – and with my husband’s assistance (I do not like exacto’s or utility knives) we cut out 11 houses for the swap. I decided to do them all the same size and tried to vary the look and papers of each one. I can definately see how houses can be addicting to make. I am looking forward to seeing what the other ladies in this swap create! very fun indeed! thanks Jeri for including me! :)
About Sugar Lump Studios
I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.
