Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Shabby Puppy Tails}

March 29, 2012

I’ve been in slow mojo mode for the past few weeks – so I thought I would share a few things that had been on the back burner. Seems life has been a whirlwind of appointments and commitments which doesn’t allow for play time. :(

I am super thrilled to share my new little “grand puppy”! If you follow me on Facebook – you have already met him…but may I introduce “Kane”…at 8 weeks old. “Kane” is of Irish and Gaelic origin, and the meaning of Kane is “little battler”.

He is so sweet and has a snout like “Jimmy Durante”…but I am smitten! I am happy for my son Ian who has wanted a breed like this since he was a little boy. Kane is English Bull Terrier just like the “Target” dog here in the United States. I love his beautiful brindle coloring.

This Granny can’t wait to see him again and snuggle! :)

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    Beautiful tags, hearts, cones and collages and, of course, not to mention the little newcomer “Kane” enough to melt your heart!
    Have a wonderful weekend and catch up Nancy,
    Love and hugs,

    Love all the beautiful creations and Kane is a true delight!
    I understand what you’re saying. I am always just a bit testy when the reality of everyday life messes with my muse! I would much rather be creating then dealing with stuff!

    Cute dog–I have only seen the ones that are all white with the “black” eye–I love your cone with the goodies in it!
