I haven’t had much time for creating, blogging, or socializing this past week. Seems that computer time was done in moments or a quick break from tending the patient. This past week has also been a blur between hubby’s knee surgery and the intense heat. Thank you for all the well wishes sent our way. Hubby is surviving PT now a few times a week. His meniscus is wearing out in the knees, so they repaired what they could. My brother is doing really well with his new diet and is up to a mile of walking a day (major feat for him)…we just need to wait through the month of July for other medical tests to be done and have left it in the Lord’s hands to guide us.
This little tag book was creating using Avery shipping tags as the base, and covering them with pattern papers, collage images (Paper Whimsy), silver German scrap and other tidbits of ephemera. I hope this week to create more (and hide inside with the air conditioning)….I need to live in the British isles…my kind of weather! :)
Stay cool and have fun creating!
Dear Nancy- Oh I hope for you, that all the waiting is soon over, and that the results will be positive, in the way of no bad messages. And wish for real healing for your husbond and his knee!
The little tag-book is the sweetest , –
Hugs and warm thoughts to you.

Hope your husband and brother will be healing!! Take care of yourself too!!!
What a gorgeous tag book….I love the colours you’ve used. Hoping for good medical outcomes for your family.
And we in the British Isles would actually prefer some of your warmth….because it seems someone has stolen all of ours!!!!
what a pretty tag book Nancy! I have to say I really LOVE the heat but when I do start to cook outside it is nice to come into the AC and art it up a bit!
Beautiful little tag book! Each one is a lovely work of art! Happy to hear your hubby is making it through PT. It can be rough at times going through that kind of sutgery. How blessed he is to have a good, dedicated wife to help him through it.

Oh Nancy! What lovely tags! What a neat idea putting them in a book! :) I hope your Hubby is doing well, and with such a nurse he’s probably up and running already! ;)
Hugs,
Dear Nancy
Time and rest will heal the pain of your husband’s surgery.
I know it is a very trying time for you, your husband and brother but sounds like all is going in the right direction at present.
Where are you finding time to make dear little gorgeous tag books such as this one!
So very sweet!

Hello Dear Nancy, glad to hear things are progressing well with your Brother and Hubby. Do hope and pray for you that all the future results are positive. So pleased you’re still finding a little time to make such beautiful art in your sea tags, and of course we always await the next piece of art from you. Hoping you will find more creative time very soon, hugs Robyn xx
Lovely, Nancy! And so very glad to hear that Steve is mending nicely and Rick is sticking to the diet and the walking regimen. Good for him! I’d be hard-pressed to walk a mile, not even taking this heat into account. God Bless you and your family!
So beautiful Nancy! Hang in there and do not forget about you!
