Silver and Script Scrapling Cards
These sweet little cards can be made in all color schemes and themes. They are a perfect way to use up extra scraps of pattern paper and cardstock.
I selected a neutral theme for this project. Soft whites and touches of silver.
Supplies:
Cardstock
Pattern Papers
Adhesive
Buttons
Silver German Scrap Hearts
Silver German Scrap Border
Ephemera
Collage Images (I am using Ireland Rose Nostalgia)
Mini Tags – Paper Whimsy Digi 091
Words Paper Whimsy Digi 180
Bling
Circle Punch
Scallop Punch
Heart Mini Brads
Technique:
(1) Cut cardstock strips 2.5 inches wide by 8.5 inches long. Score strip at 4 ¼ inches with scoring blade and fold.
(2) Cut pattern paper for background of cards 2 ¼ inches by 4 inches. Glue and center on each card front.
(3) Select ephemera bits and glue to front of card. Center scallop punch of sheet music and glue. Add collage image to center of scallop and glue.
(4) Add silver German scrap border to bottom of card. Add silver hearts on bottom of card. You may also add optional bling.
Variations:
Add prima flowers to cards, buttons, or other embellishments.
