I’m joining Wen from Apple Apricot for her “Neutral Tuesday” blog post today.
This past Saturday, I was able to finally meet a long time blog/art friend Barbara. She and her hubby (and 3 beautiful dogs) drove down from Northern Michigan to meet up. They took me to lunch, and then to Michael’s and Joann’s. Such a wonderful time and special afternoon we had!
We had an amazing few hours together, and honestly I felt so comfortable it was like we had known each other for years. What a sweet lady! She brought me some wonderful things (boxes and bags of paper, stamps, punches, diecuts, cigar boxes too many to list) and it has been like Christmas for me the past few days opening up the items. A generous heart indeed!
One of the things she gave me was a giant bag of this lace! I just kept finding more and more as I dug deeper into the bag! My heart kept skipping a beat as I found the next “lace” treasure! I will find so many uses for it in future projects.
I am looking forward to creating with this amazing stash of vintage goodness! Happy Tuesday!
