March 2, 2016

Hello March!  I hope you will be a happy month!

I am joining Wen from Apple Apricot for another Simply Neutrals Tuesday.

Simply Neutrals Tuesday at AppleApricot - blog button

I am sharing something from the art archives. I have not been creating, but wanted to get back in the groove if I can this month. I am sharing Altered Dress canvases that I made a few years back for the Inspire project at Paper Whimsy

Thank you so much for your kind words about the loss of my beloved Hailey Anne. It has been 2 weeks today since she left and my world is so different. She really was my companion. I miss her terribly. This quote has been helping me each day. I do feel her spirit with me every day…in some way and try to take comfort in that.

Oh Nancy! These are gorgeousness!! Look at all the beautiful details~ Love love them! (I want to snitch that ‘spool-banner’ idea: )! I adore the vintage neutrals here, exquisite pieces of lace, and the bkgrounds are beautifully done. Thanks for sharing!
I sure appreciate the quote as well; and can apply it to my heart.
I am doing better (since losing Al) but then a wave of grief hits and knocks me down again. I know; it is a cycle.
I am hoping your memories of Hailey will bring you some peace. And the fresh air will draw you outside soon. We are not yet done with snow. I appreciate you friend~ Karen O in CO

These are exquisite, Nancy. Am so looking forward to your new creations. You have been such an inspiration with your creativity and your courage. The loss of Hailey Ann must be such a sad blow to you. She will be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for you. The loss of a faithful pet leaves a hole in our lives but the memory stays in our hearts.
