Hello! Happy July! I was so happy to find out today was Simply Neutrals Tuesday…not because I have been in the studio creating things (because I have not) but because I love when Wen has it on her blog!
Today, I rustled up an oldie from the art archives using Bingo Cards…
I am joining Wen for Simply Neutrals Tuesday. Please visit her blog and see Wen’s and see many other artists beautiful posts as well: appleapricot.blogspot.com
Little bits of fabric collage, papers, and computer font text were added to the fronts of the cards.
My friend, little Tucker is growing like a weed. He just turned 7 months old. Still a joy to have around the house (and he tires me out too!)…this is his “snake eye” look. I’ve never owned a cat with gold eyes…he is my first. I hope you are staying cool my friends (we hit near 100 over the weekend) and have a wonderful July 4th Holiday!
Hello there Nancy~
I always love love love your archived treasures!
This is such a beauty~ Vintage perfection <3
Tucker is sure growing up; and soo pretty.
Thanks for sharing today! Love & hugs, karen o
PS – Staying cool was not a problem today here in MT,
as the temperature was 48 deg when I woke this a.m.! But we have had lots of warm weather too. It seems to be the rainy season with lots of fluctuating temps~ <3
Good morning Nancy! Happy 4th of July to you! Happy to see you post here!
Tucker is so beautiful! What a treasure he must be!
Hoping you are well!
hugs,Jackie xx
Dear Nancy, I can only fell in love with your beautiful neutrals, with the lovely image and your bits of beautiful laces- on top of the bingo cards- and that Tucker , a naughty sweetie I`m sure- so lovely you him. Hugs, Dorthe
Hello dear Nancy, thank you so much for your sweet words :) Gorgeous cards!! I love the way you layer everything. And such a sweet photo of that precious little girl. I wish you a beautiful day and hope you can stay cool despite the heat. Big hugs and love, xx
Hello there, Nancy, What a gorgeous little girl you have featured here in your artwork so perfectly! I love those little flowers you made using clock faces. What a lovely idea. And Tucker is superb! I’m sure he keeps you on your toes.
My kitten is now about the same age, and he is adorable too. Just today my cross old neighbour threatened to kill our cats if he found them killing birds on his property! I was so upset, as we keep them both inside at night until late morning, and bring them in again before birds are busiest in the afternoon. I hate to keep the cats inside all the time, as they have to have a little freedom and sunshine. I hope your Tucker is well-behaved. Jasper loves to walk on my treasures, knocking them down. He even broke a vintage teacup, so I had to pack away the breakables for a while at least.
I love seeing your wonderful artworks, and I hope you feel some creativity sneaking back soon.
Love and hugs,
Jesse XX
hope you had a nice holiday too – after a nearly 100 degree day here it poured rain about 10pm – end of fireworks which were over the top booming everywhere!! your bingo cards are delightful as usual – love those golden eyes on Tucker!!
Your use of lace, buttons and bingo cards is beautiful! And the vintage photo! It all fits together perfectly.
Tucker’s eye are striking; such a pretty cat!
I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July Nancy!
