I am joining Wen from Apple Apricot for another Simply Neutrals Tuesday.
Greetings! I am very late in the post this week, but I wanted to play along. I made this collage MANY years ago and came across it in some of my art photos this past week. The image is from Paper Whimsy and the piece was actually done in a linen remnant. Oodles of vintage laces and beads were also added.
I LOVE this collage of laces and buttons on the linen with such a sweet image. Her bow is bigger than she is and reminds me of a photo my husband has of his mother and her twin sister and both of them have huge bows on their heads. Creative Neutral Bliss…
So pretty, Nancy! All the collaged elements are so perfectly combined and the image is so sweet! Love this! Hugs!
Hi Nancy! I always love looking at your work, whether it be old or new. Refreshers are great as often we see them in a new and different way. Hope all is still going well. Hugs, Sue
She is such a beautiful Paper Whimsy girl, and you made her a most beautiful “home” Nancy.
So many lovely details, with your added pearls and buttons, and wonderful neutral laces , just adorable, dear .
Hugs, Dorthe
your art is positively timeless and so beautiful Nancy! Thanks for sharing this gorgeous piece!
Nancy, your lace collage is so sweet and delicate. I love the lace hanger, too. Have a lovely week,
cheers, Jesse
Absolutely amazing work Nancy!

Just one word, dear Nancy:) GORGEOUS!
Sending hugs and love,

It’s a gorgeous collage Nancy, I don’t think I’ve seen it before. I’m happy you’re sharing these older art pieces with us so we can see them if we haven’t seen them before. And you’re welcome to join in the party any time :) xx (Beautiful quote by CS Lewis by the way, a great reminder for me this week, so thank you for sharing sweetie!) xx
What a beautiful creation Nancy, beautiful colours that compliment the photo perfectly. Thanks for sharing it, Deb xo
