Hello Friends!
I was able to create some new art the other day while hiding from the extreme heat. I made a little video about 3 x 5 skinny card colleges too. If you are on YouTube, I would love if you could subscribe to my channel.
These little skinnies are made on Kraft card stock with a variety of vintage style papers. I took photos of just the Skinny by themselves and when I incorporated on to a Traveler’s Notebook cover.
I hope you enjoy this fun and simple little project.
loved watching your tutorial on skinnies – even tho i don’t do vintage any more, i still love it! maybe one of these days i’ll have a go at it again – believe me i still have all the “stuff”!! good to hear you are healing – a year of p.t. – yikes!!! but it’s for the best. take care and will look forward to seeing more videos. hugs.
Hello Nancy and thank you for sharing this wonderful tutorial!
Your ‘skinnys’ are gorgeous! Your vintage work is always inspiring and beautiful~ I do want to try one (when my craftroom is back in order : ) Glad to hear your are some better; and above all things your attitude is amazing. You are a blessing to us and a great roll model. I mean that with true sincerity <3 Stay as cool as you can! Hugs, karen o @ Roosterhead Designs
I hope that you are healed up now after your fall. I tore something in my ankle years ago and boy did it take a long time to heal. Hopefully day by day and with physical therapy you are getting stronger and feeling less pain. Take care xoxoxox
Dear Nancy, loved seeing this, and your beautiful skinny cards- so lovely in their vintage style, which I always find so adorable. Also good to listen and hear where you are by now, with your health, and so happy you are between the 22 percentage of women whom survives such stroke. The osteoporosis I know all about, my mother suffered that and also my sister whom broke legs twice. I try to keep my level high as you do too. Wishing you a lovely weekend, and sending blessings for you to soon hold your new grandchild, in your arms . Love, Dorthe
