I finally finished this fabric festoon I have been working on the past few weeks. Something fun and a little vibrant. I used a mixture of images on this one and adorned the pieces with eyelet and mother of pearl buttons. The panels are a little larger then I normally design with, but I am pleased with the results.

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

It is the sweetest and so festive summer festoon, Nancy dear. Such new colours from you, also, they gives associations of the summer laughing and being bright and happy. The images I love, too.

Positively charming and I can just imagine it wafting on the summer breeze as the sweet giggles of those children are carried through the air (oops! did I just get a wee bit carried away there?!!)
