For quite some time I have asked my husband to create a wooden frame box that I could create art in. Something that a fabric collage could be placed inside or other types of art. Hubby finally got around to it over the weekend and created a few.
I love how they turned out! The box is versatile to be displayed or hung on the wall with a bracket on the back. Using the first box, I painted it a creamy white and added lace trim to the sides of the box.
I created a fabric collage using the inside dimensions (8 x 10 inches) and added an antique doily and small rhinestone. I call this piece “Sweet Harmony” because the innocence of the little girls in the collage piece.
How beautiful Nancy, you and your husband both did an awesome job!!
This is so sweet…did I just see this in your ETSY shop? Kudos to your husband for making the perfect collage box.
Sweet Harmony is very appropriately named. Great ideas executed from a great team. Creative Hearts are Happy Hearts and all the better when they are shared by two…
Loved this when I saw it on Facebook and loving it even more here as you can see so much more, fab work Nancy, hugs Annette x
