Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Sweet Itty Bitty Bunting}

February 4, 2012

Get ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day by creating this itty bitty bunting. This can be hung anywhere in your home, studio or office spreading love and romance everywhere! It would also be a fun project to create with a craft group, the kids, or grandchildren.

Technique:

(1) Cut out all your Beautiful faces and Digi sheet items. Distress edges with ink. Add Stickles along edges of items and set aside to dry.

(2) Place Beautiful faces on ATC backgrounds and embellish with hearts and words. Add mini brads. Mount on to cardstock for added dimension.

(3) Add eyelets to upper corners of bunting (words spell out Sweet) and ATC pieces. String fine ribbon, twine, or string through bunting.

(4) Tie ribbon strands in between each image. Hang in place.

I would love to see your variation of this project! I hope you will share it if you make one.

Supplies:
All supplies are available at Paper Whimsy www.paperwhimsy.com

    I love how you put the “sweet” on the litle “flags” in between, and the loving messages on the others.

    I love this! I’m going to modify this as a baby banner for our up and coming g’child! I’ll use baby pics of all the grandparents and her mom can hang it up in the baby’s room!

    What do you think?
